Known as MAPPING for the last 20 years, the company has now become the MAPPING Group with a view to distinguishing the printing division from the retail & customer relations division.

The activities of the newborn MAPPING Group are now clearly divided into two separate entities: MAPPING Suite as the output management solution and MAXXING as the customer relations solution. With a different range of products and different markets, we felt we had to clarify both our solution offering and internal structure.

MAPPING's strong partnerships have led MAPPING Suite to be referenced in the IBM worldwide catalogue and distributed by a network of partners via IPS (InfoPrint Solutions - Joint venture IBM/Ricoh) worldwide. As such, MAPPING has now become an output management industry benchmark on a global scale.

Since 2004, MAPPING has been a member of the Aproged (a major French association of IT companies) and became SAP certified in 2007. In February 2009, MAPPING became a SAGE partner, which then led to the release of the GREENPAGE solution dedicated to SAGE users.


MAXXING: Innovative and Targeted Promotions Management


In 2006, MAPPING leveraged its 20 years' experience in printing to design its own Couponing solution for the Retail industry. What was a Couponing solution at first soon became a Promotions design and execution solution and has now grown into a full-fledged Customer Relations, Targeting and Campaign management solution.

1988 - 1993: At the beginning the company was selling printers and monitors.
1993 - 1996: First released software COGIPRINT.
1996 - 1998: First release of MAPPING 400.
1998: New release of MAPPING including MAPDRAW.
1999: Release of MAPOUT.
2000: Release of MAPCOM.
2001: Release of MAPWEB and the AFP module.
2002: Release of MAPREPORT, MAPSEND and MAPPING for AIX.
2003: Release of MAPOFFICE, new MAPWEB, and MAPPING for LINUX and HPUX.
2004: Support for RFID encoding and DBCS.
2005: Development of MAPPING Promotion & Couponing Management (MAXXING Solution).
2006: Development of Unicode support and the SAP connector.
2007: Release of MAPPING Version Manager and the sales promotion engine (MAXXING Solution).
February 2009: Development of the GREENPAGE offer.
March 2009: 4 innovations - MAPLABELS - MAPPING OUTPUT MANAGER options (MOM spooler): MAPPING Over the Web (MOW) and MAPPING Virtual Printer (MVP) - New MAPPING option: Word / Excel
